We are supporting a firm of Chartered Accountants in their search for an additional member of staff, you will be a practice trained Senior Accounts Clerk, with a minimum of 5-8 years experience in a general practice role. You will have 3-5 years of Managerial experience within a practice environment. You will be joining a firm with a family feel and a portfolio of mixed business in North Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
You will work predominantly on the production of accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, you will also be involved in tax compliance work for both individuals and limited companies. You will be able to prioritise workloads for the staff you are responsible for in a timely manner.
Providing you are able to manage your own workload, my client is open minded on the level of hire, you may be an AAT or ACA / ACCA studier, or perhaps qualified by experience, knowledge of Xero advantageous but not essential.
Progression within the company is easily achievable for staff if they so desire.
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Depending on experience and qualifications).
